27 Weeks

Last week I missed my post, we were out-of-town on vacation. Summer keeps flying by.  Last weekend we loaded up the van and headed north to go camping with my family. We had a great time checking out water falls, having camp fires, going mini golfing, and playing games.  I can’t believe how fast it went by.  From camping, we headed to Trav’s parents cabin to drop off the girls. Trav and I then went to Hayward for a little night away. We celebrated his 30th birthday and went golfing and out to eat.  It was so nice to hang out and relax together.  I wish it was a little longer, but hopefully we can plan a longer trip together after we have baby number 3.

After our little night away we headed back to pick up the girls and celebrated Trav’s birthday with his family. Nothing better than lasagna with angel food cake and strawberries for dessert.  We made it home late Wednesday night.  Trav worked Thursday and Friday and then headed off for a bachelor party for the weekend. The girls and I stayed busy and went to the county fair, my mom’s house, my dad’s house, a playground, church, and grocery shopping and poof the weekend was gone.

On the pregnancy side of things I am thankful that I have been feeling well and the baby is doing great. I still have an itchy palm, but my bile levels are still low, so that is good. We won’t run more bile test unless my palms increase in itchiness.  My face rash is still going strong, lol. I am pretty sure I will just rock it out until the end of pregnancy. Besides tiredness and getting over heated easily things are good.  I am excited for our 28 week appointment. I scheduled my 1 hour glucose test super early in the morning with hopes that I pass and do not have to take a 3 hour test. During Kenna and Emmy’s pregnancies I failed the one hour glucose test and had to go back for the three hour test.  During my first pregnancy I got super sick during the 3 hour test and with Emmy’s it went fine, but it is just a pain in the butt.  With both pregnancies I passed the three hour test with flying colors.  If anyone has any tricks on what foods to eat or not eat, please let me know.
