21 Weeks

It has been an amazing week. This last week we went camping and we had so much fun.  Our little family needed time to get away and hang out, we hadn’t seen Trav for a while because of baseball so it was really nice just to relax with the family.  We actually didn’t end up relaxing much, we filled our days with lots of fun things. We did a little shopping in Minocqua’s cute downtown, went to the candy store, zoo, park, and the beach. We also stopped to get ice cream twice and go mini golfing.  I also had the best pizza that I have ever had at Minocqua’s Pizza Company.  It was delicious.  Minocqua was such a great place with tons of fun things to do. We even saw the world’s largest penny 😉

As for the camping part, I love to camp and sit by the water and fire. The girls loved playing in the trees, rocks, and dirt. We also brought Kenna’s bike and she rode it everywhere we went.  Our campground had amazing bike trails and walking paths.  As for the sleeping situation,  it took us a couple of days to figure out the best way to put the girls down. The first night was a late night and early morning for all of us. One bonus of waking up super early is that you get fresh donuts if you go to a bakery:)  Most of the mornings we drove into town to get coffee and donuts (because our coffee pot was not working:( and we can’t live with out coffee). Then we would come back and start a fire and make a real breakfast. It was a great way to start the  morning and I really miss my warm donuts and white chocolate raspberry mochas!!! mmmmm.  Overall, it was a fantastic trip and I can’t say enough good things about it.

On Friday we drove home to get ready for my mom’s wedding. Friday we got home unloaded the van and camper and I left to go help set up for my mom’s wedding.  Saturday morning we started the wedding festivities. Kenna was the flower girl and loved every second of it.  Everyone had a blast and it was a beautiful busy day.

The next day we ventured out to my cousins baby shower and our friends bbq. It was great to see my cousin and talk baby. She is due a month before me so it was a lot of fun to chat about our pregnancies. After the baby shower we went to our friends bbq. It was so nice to sit down and visit with them. I swear we never see our friends because we are so busy. I look forward to taking more time this summer to get out and see people more.

On the pregnancy side of things it was an okay week. My face rash is still going strong:( I get a lot of comments about looking like I am sun burnt all the time. lol, nope, just an awesome face rash.  My hand also still itches at night, so my doctor is going to run some blood work to see where my bile levels are at.  I also have been having weird dreams that have been waking me up. Last night I dreamt we had ants in our bed and they were crawling all over me. Talk about intensifying my itching problem.  We finally had our ultrasound and it was so amazing seeing our little baby.  It just blows my mind that my body is able to grow a human.  The doctor said that baby was measuring right on and that everything looked great!!! GOD is good.  After the ultrasound Trav and I thought that it might be another girl.  I am not 100 percent convinced because I kind of thought the 3d picture looked like a boy.  What do you guys think?
