Oh man what a week! Trav’s grandma passed away so this last week we had her wake and funeral:( It was a busy couple of days. Travis’s brother and wife and little boy came up for the funeral and stayed with us for a night. It was great to see them and catch up. Their little boy and Emmy are only a month apart! So it is fun to see them interact and play together. My sister-in-law is also pregnant so it is always fun to talk about babies and pregnancy.
Travis also had a couple of baseball games this week and the weather was finally kind of nice so we went to one of his games this week. They won both:) So that was great. On Saturday, I went to a Young Living convention with some ladies and it was AMAZING. I love to learn about health and wellness and how I can incorporate more healthy options into my life. I have really changed my lifestyle since I starting using Young Living Oils and I love to see the changes it has had on my family and myself! It is amazing what living healthy and cutting chemicals from your life can do. I am still not perfect and have lots of areas to improve on, but it is nice knowing that I am doing a little all the time for my family’s wellness. On a side note the convention was two hours away and as we were leaving my car broke down right off the freeway:( Wufta. Not a great place to break down. So my husband was going to have to drive two hours up to get me and the my friends. At this point I was really tired, overwhelmed, hungry, pregnant, and did I mention tired. Luckily one of our other friends was driving home from the convention as well and ended up picking us up and giving us ride. Thank goodness.
So Sunday we spend most of the day picking up the car, Travis fixing the car, and then doing chores around the house. Our lawn mower broke on Friday, so Trav was supposed to work on that this weekend, but the car trumped the lawn mower. So long grass for another week! 😦
After a funeral, wake, broken car, and lawn mower, I am thankful for a new week and some sunshine and iced coffee;) Recipe coming soon! Promise-
